Finally completed, the fourth of my Movie Covers series. "Monty Python and the Holy Grail" meets Uncanny X-Men #141, the classic "Days of Future Past". [link]

When I first started these Movie Covers, I knew I had to do this cover, but what movie would have enough recognizable actors to put on the wanted poster? Then I realized, I didn't need actors, just characters. "Holy Grail" was a perfect fit, and suddenly I couldn't wait to get to it. Once I did, I got a little overwhelmed by the complexity of it. I realized I couldn't just draw out the whole thing like I normally do, I had to break it up into steps. Penciled and inked Patsy and Arthur by hand, did the wanted poster separately. Brought it all together and created the background in Photoshop. Coloring was also done in PS.

I am really happy with the way this turned out. It's not often I toot my own horn, but I really think this is one of the best pieces I've ever done.

The unmarred wanted poster can be seen here if you want to see it:

Enjoy!

"It's only a model." But a damn good pic, nonetheless.

Monty Python FTW.
